Even i want to undergo this treatment and the few people i spoke to suggested Maxivision and called it the best. They perform some preliminary tests though to make sure if we are fit for the treatment. So only after this things become certain.

Lasik laser treatment

by Me » Sun Nov 23, 2003 10:55 am

there are two types of procedures one is lasik which is the latest technology, its expensive but its relatively painless and also the recovery time is 1-2 days.but not all eyes are suitable for this procedure..if not, u would have to go through another procedure called PRK which is an older procedure ,its cheaper ,while the actualy operation is painless the recovery time is 2-3 days and its pretty painful and it takes abt 15-30 days for 20/20 vision ..its not like u cant see after 3 days ,..u can see much better but the clarity gets better!! i got the PRK done because my eyes were not suitable for lasik ..the first 2 days very pretty bad ,but after that i had no problems..its been almost a yr since i got it done and i have no problems yet!!
The price when i got it done at maxvision was Rs 39,000 for lasik and Rs 25,000 for the PRK.i dont know the latest tag.
Ill be glad to help on any more questions, coz i was pretty apprehensive abt all this when i got it done,so dont hesitate to ask!!
