I strongly believe that Hinduism is full of subtle messages, and by indicating that God assumed the woman form, the message that gets conveyed is that of gender equality. High time the concerned \'morons\' realized that and allowed women also to worship and visit the temple.

We had a very open culture before the \'culture police\' took over. E.g. there was an ancient practise called \'niyoga\' which is similar to the present day \'sperm donation\' - only difference, you didnt have artificial insemination in those days, so people did it the natural way
