Hah... Just see how multiples of 16 and 17 are related re... When you divide consequtive multiples of 16 by 17, you get remainders like 16, 15, 14, 13, and so on till you get 0 at the LCM of 16 and 17, and then the cycle repeats. This cycle repeats after every 18 nos.
 
 
Let\'s divide 64 (you know why 64) by 18 and we get a remainder of 10. Corresponding to this 10th place is the number 6 or 5 maybe from the above series of reminders... Phew!!! your answer is D - NONE - baba. Ek line ka question aur itna dimaag lagana pada... Kya hai yeh!

Check this method:
 
 
2^8=256, the remainder when 2^8 is divided by 17 is 1.
 
(2^8)^32, the remainder is 1^32 = 1.
 
Therefore, 2^256 when divided by 17 gives the remainder 1.
 
But the answer is given as 16. and you say it is NONE, which one is correct man. Someone help!!!

Hi guys! Did you find any special tricks for DI? I mean, any new varieties of DI questions? The logical ability is a pain. What do you guys do about it?

I feel Logical Ability is a lot simpler compared to DI. The only good thing about DI is that you get lots of questions in that section and a little practice with calculations will find your scores shooting up.

So you are saying Logical Ability is easier to crack in the given time comared to DI in the given time. Can you help me out? I\'m leaving out Logical Ability questions most of the time.

Yo, there\'s no reasoning in particular in CAT. I think english is more easy to score. Concentrate on RC, man. Luck!!!
