The entire episode on \"making friends\" seems so shallow. You don\'t need to be \"cute-looking\" with a \"good dressing sense\" to qualify as a \"friend\". Unless, you have a different definition of a "friend\".

I agree. You don\'t set pre-conditions in friendship. And you certainly don\'t have to say \"cute looking\" and \"well dressed\" when you are attempting to make friends with the fairer sex. What you do wish for is that you meet like minded-people who know the meaning of friendship, and value it. Getting into friendship with some expectations of getting something - now that\'s a lil cheap. You guys may not agree with me or my views, but that\'s OK. If you are looking for a partner, then you can say that you need a good looking gal. Your personal choice. No one should have a problem with that. But a good looking friend? That puzzles me. Why do you want a good looking friend? What have you gotta do with the \"looks\" of a friend. And let\'s presume you make a friends with a gal over the net and after sometime you\'re gonna meet her in person and find her not so beautiful. What are you gonna do? Break friendship with her? Are you gonna hurt her by saying \'You dont look good\'? Hmmmmm...

I agree our comments are based on some personal experiences or choices, but believe me in real life what happens is the opposite (a very beautiful girl may fall for an average guy) and as far as friends in today\'s society are concerned, one can choose from rich/poor/average/stunning pretty/sporty. You know, whatever...
 
 
My point is, you may have a choice with firends, but for a partner (where heart matters) it is not always in your control. Do I make any sense at all?
