Kya bakwas hai! The selection process is faulty. Purab is nice and decent. He must be there to judge their confidence and screen-friendliness. Dr. Palash Sen is an ordinary singer, I hope he is a better doc. He should keep his sarcasm under check. As for Mehnaaz, I guess she\'s there as eye-candy for the guys.

Popstars is not a hunt for singers. it\'s a hunt for a product. Products rather, in two variants of male and female. With two such \'established\' products programmed to search. One such product selected this year is an established son of an established music arranger, Amar Halipur. His son had composed background music for Road and Satya and got selected as a new Pop star! The earlier versions of pop stars, commonly known as Viva, had a component whose dad is VP Universal Music, India. If your dad/mom/god father is a big product in the music industry, apply for Channel V Popstarts version 3 due next year. Girls need to have special fake American accent and have a crush on Purab or any other channel V prop.

After Pop Stars-1, I had thought that I could relax for 3-4 yrs before this thing comes again. But I was amazed to see them back just after a year yaar.

If you've seen the auditions you'll find guys challenging the selected ones to sing on the spot. Now that's one talented person. But the selected ones are futile. I agree with Sunny. Who is Mehnaz? That shitty singer! She\'s no extraordinary singer. Purab is a good host but what the hell does he know about singing? But you never know guys. That FLOPPEST actor VIVEK MUSHRAN is out with an album. I saw his song yesterday, all mixed no orginality at all. Your papa has money... BETA go release an ALBUM!
