Where do you see Hyderabad 10 yrs from now?

I am from Delhi and visit Hyd often on work, now coming down for almost 2 yrs regularly. I have seen loads of changes in Hyd in recent times.... you guys would know a lot more.. any ideas where you see it from 10yrs down the line?

Good and bad, bad.. what can be done? For instance the traffic bothers me a lot, and most of the roads are widened to the max... what next?

The good thing I like about Hyd (one of the so many!!).. is that the cost of living is low, eating out for instance is so much more affordable than Delhi!.. I want that to continue..

Hi I welcome you in discussion board. Poor chandrababunaidu is working a lot for the upliftment of the state and hyderabad. But, It must be in his followers, But In my view you can find a better hyderabad.

Main problem in hyderabad is sanitation. Yar, here yek naara hai oh clean and green. But, if you just go to urinate on the road sides I am sure that definetely you\'ll get diseases. And the smell from those lavoratories and urinals is like that that you may even get vomtings on the spot.

what I can tell you, delhi guy, is about my dreams about hyderabad, not about the facts. I will be coming to hyderabad sometime later this year after a long time.. so you can tell me better about our hyderabad. A board that interests me.. thanx to you, I shall follow it closely.

Tks Mrk and Arch... I should tell you that still Hyd is much better than Del in many respects.. the roads are great, you should visit Del now!!! its an off road exp on the roads!!!

<br>What I also like is the pics in newspapers of some pot hole or sewer tank left open, and the next day the remedy action picture, wish something like that was in Del and people taking action so quickly!!!

Does not make a meaning to me - why you Delhi guys taking interest in Hyd.

But as a real Hydi guy let me tell you that since hyd is both historical and a modern side to it, so I would like to see it to shape-up into a metro similar to london and in some other ways it should resemble LA since it also has a movie industry.

The above two towns London/LA are my favourites, additionally I would like to see the quality basic education to all in Hyd. Plus the old city should be an example of prosperity and peace and the culture...in the coming years.

Thanks for your comments and sharing your dreams. The reason I take interest in Hyderabad is that as I visit it often, and work for an organisation working for the poor in our country, you do get attached to the city you visit and the state you work hard in to help eradicate poverty. That is why Hyderabad and AP are important to me!

I know one Delhi guy who works with a british consultant for some development projects by ADB or the world bank. I met him once near Raj Bhavan area.
