Dangerous and Deadly Cops

by The Honest Cop » Mon Jun 30, 2003 6:48 pm

Dear Friends, you all know it, but I still just want all of you to be aware of how dangerous and dodgy these police (cops) are.

I expect you all might have had some bad experiences with these blood sucking so called police. It all starts and ends with corruption, nepotism and fraud. Starting from recruitment to retirement, nothing goes soft in the life of a cop. Instead of safeguarding and protecting the society, they have wrecked the system and turned it into the worst and most cruel profession.

Unfortunately, we have put our faith and trust in these bloody rogues. In spite of their being projected as wicked, cunning and crafty in so many movies, nothing seems to beat them in what they do. Wearing a valued uniform provided by the law, they torture and trouble the innocent. Many times you all might have read and heard this in the news that a naïve and innocent citizen has been badly treated for no reason, the obvious motive being money and politics.

I am sure that you all would agree that when an accident happens, the cops who come onto the scene, instead of helping the wounded first, very efficiently rob the valuables and jewellery from the dead and injured. They leave nothing for that matter. You name it and they are doing it - stuff you could imagine only in your wildest of dreams. They are involved in all types of crimes.

You can hardly pick any officer who is really honest and doing his job sincerely, cause the organization wouldn’t allow him to do it. Now tell me, what’s the difference between a real full time thief and a cop? The latter is more dangerous and he is openly moving in the society - and not only that, he is also paid for this by the so called Government, which is and will always remain corrupt, with its horrendous politics.

Friends, it is shocking because we are brought up to trust those in this profession. These offenders are socially skilled, and I think in most cases their behaviour is entirely intentional. The ethics and rules are clear concerning misconduct. They cross the line and misuse power and control. They usually have a very bad upbringing, and are without sufficient education. They are serial predators who use their position of power and trust to exploit people who they are supposed to care and supervise.

Recognising this seriousness, I all of you to report any misconduct and misbehaviour, because it\'s not too late to break their pattern and approach.

honest cops?? most of the cops have to dish out money (and recommendations too) to get the post. i mean why would anyone pay a lakh rupees to become a SI/CI - to serve the nation is not something that comes to my mind as a possible reason. and going off on a tangent... i had a batchmate (in enggg) who was in electrical. the only reason he chose electrical (i heard that ppl do engg and medical courses paying huge donations bcos they get a HUGE dowry..but this reason beats that) was bcos he can get into APSEB and make some money selling away transformers. i know its very easy to blame the system and be done with it... but.....

Its a good idea u have proposed - report every single crime that you come across. Any country will take its time to mature on the legal front. Since our legal force has not yet come to an extent where justice on simple issues is rendered fast, we find no use in reporting crimes. But let us report every single crime - small and big, with the necessary and possible documents and proofs and let justice take its time. Slowly but surely we will see a better society and a better police force.

you need evidence and not just some fancy words. If your serious about it and can prove it ...its worth your while. Or else just let it go.

I used to be scared, even as a child, of the police or the police station. It never made me feel that they are somebody to whom I can approach in times of need. We do have several family/friends who are into police force and yet this is the feeling I grew up with ! Why so, as a child too ? I had always been patriotic yet was not blinded by it. Was always open to its negative aspects, when it comes from the healthy Indians , and fiercely defensive when its from those of us who call us \'arre yaar, koyyi desi anna hai\' :) Now, back here in San Jose, I am very comfortable when a police passes by or I pass by the station. Infact we visited the station and were made to feel so comfortable and at ease as the citizens should be feeling to approach them in times of need. I do not think that it is free of corruption here, or that of politics or that of reservations (akin to SC/ST/BC yes, its called affirmative action where the whites who \'may\' be better qualified are given less preference over the blacks, hispanics and the minorities !!) Where do we need to stand corrected ? does everyone of you all feel the same fear of police in our country ? why so ? cud any one of you figure out?
