Much ado about nothing...

Hi guys,

I apologize for choosing such a topic for my first post here but my mind boggled over this for a while now.

what does the word \"baadcau\" mean...Doubtless as a Hyderabadi I used it many times on my friends & foes alike, and my friends/foes fondly addressed me the same. But I must admit I never knew the meaning of it...

Well, any true blue Hyderabadis care to unfold the mystery of this word\'s origin and meaning?? I only hope it\'s not too obscene for a family forum like this...I remember in an old movie the sweet lass Farah crooning \"Kya kar rai re Baadcau\" or some such..or could it be just my imagination?

Are these words called hyderabadisms??
