Greetings, my name is Sunny and I am planning a trip to Ooty in October of this year. I was wondering if any one of you ladies and gentlemen have any contacts in Ooty, Tamil Nadu State of South India. Do you have any recommendation as far as hotels go? Hi Sunny, I am a native of Ooty. You can stay at a hotel called Nahar Home at Charing Cross. There are a few more hotels behind Nahar. Woodlands near the Railway station or the TTDC Hotel above Breeks School are other options. OCT is off-season, so you will get booking. No problems. Visit Ooty garden, lake, Dodabatta hills which is about 8,000 feet above sea level. You can also go to Ghorishola, Tiger Hills, Sandinala, Nadivattam, Mudamalai, Kotagiri etc. There are so many places even for hiking... Let me know your requirement, I can suggest more...
