What has Chandrababu Naidu done towards IT?

absolutely nuthin\' man... he has just constructed a building with many windows - \"the Hi-Tech city\" - and every year he is providing employment. don\'t bullshit me but... thirty students are getting into IIIT every man... man that\'s a lot he has done... seriously, i am a computer graduate and i have to go to B\'lore to find jobs... what has Mr. Naidu done man???

Well, I think Chandrababu Naidu started many projects like IT etc, but wasn\'t successful in many of them.

Naidu starts everything with full josh , lots of hype and when he thinks he has become enough popular with that thing he will start neglecting them.Finally when we compare with B\'lore we are always way behind them in all aspects , whether it is software or clean and green.

Let\'s be more objective. Why do you guys expect a single person to babysit a program? If one of us couldn\'t get a job, just proves the Darwinian theory, and doesn\'t mean that nothing is happening.

How on this earth can you say that CBN has done nothing in the IT field? If u can\'t find a job, it doesn\'t mean he has done nothing. (No one is bullshitting u). You are just comparing with Bangalore - go & see people in the North. They are in a far worse situation than us. Not only in the IT field, but in all other departments. We are in a far better position than other states. The thing is, Infosys is in a better position to provide more jobs than Satyam or any other IT company in AP... and the other thing is that AP produces the most number of IT workers among all states, even more than Karnataka. That\'s the reason that you can get a job in Bangalore but not in Hyderabad.

if u expected hyderabad (which almost started from scratch in terms of IT in the mid 90s) to overtake b\'lore which had already established its hold with better infrastructure, then i can only describe ur expectations as foolhardy. objectively, what one has to judge is where AP was in terms of investment and infrastructure before naidu and now. if i remember right, in india, hyderabad(or rather AP) came from 24th (in terms of attracting investment) to some single digit figure now. which is no small achievement. and as for leaving things midway.... what do u expect? that he just keep concentrating on IT and forget the rest? and i still see hyderabad attracting a lot of IT(es)/BPO investments. to reiterate.. if u expect one mans efforts are going to get jobs for eveyrone in the state, its a foolhardy expectation. btw, i just moved to b\'lore myself bcos i got a better offer.

I totally agree with u, no one should forget that Naidu has
done lot of things, just b\'cos some guys get good jobs and some dont, doesnt in any way diminish his efforts. We have to see the whole picture in the real perspective. Atleast we r now competing with B\'lore, and lets take this thing a few years back, when we wouldnt even thought about it. Reg. infrastructure, like roads and conectivity and few other things like Clean and Green, i feel Hyd. is way ahead. We to have build the confidence level up for more investments to come in. Lets give this man more time and then decide but i think taking into consideration the lack of committed politicians we have today, i feel we have no option but to believe in Chandrababu Naidu.

Give some credit for what Mr. Naidu is doing for the city/state. If you don\'t get a job, that doesn\'t mean that there is nothing being done in the state. Guys, you need to stop comparing it to other cities and countries (US and India) and think in individual terms how the city is progressing. And if you really don\'t find any improvement in the recent years, that means you all are sleeping... Or you just don\'t want to give credit to anybody(Mr. Naidu) for doing something nice.

Let us not forget that Babu has attracted the best schools to Hyd while competing with Bombay and B\'lore. AP tops in sending students to the IITs for so many years. Go and see Cyber City which was developed within 6 years - it houses the whos who of the IT industry. Babu deserves kudos.

He deserves credit and you guys damn well give it to him. He put Hyderabad on the \"global\" map. All a politician can do is create the atmosphere for businesses to thrive, and to expect anything more from him is being naive and ignorant. The CMs who came before him probably didn\'t even know what a computer was. If they air a story on Naidu on CNBC in the US, you know he has done something!!!
