Hyderabadi Culture... hmmm?

\"Once a Hyderabadi - always a Hyderabadi!\" Well worded, but what <i>is</i> being a Hyderabadi? What\'s this CULTURE that we talk about, that we say we carry with us wherever we go, that we are proud of? Who is a Hyderabadi?

:-/ ...Never gave a thought... But when I did, I couldn\'t find an answer... But I am still a Hyderabadi... (why???) ...maybe bcuz I live (or used to live) in Hyderabad.

I guess, one who is born here, educated and has family and friends here, naturally he will also have certain qualities; someone like me.

when you say car, it means Mercedes - and when you say culture, heritage, tradition... it is HYDERABAD. Those who do not know about HYD do not have the words RICH in their dictionaries...

The essence of being Hyderabadi is the Nizam lifestyle.
The language, the laid-back attittude, the dont-care view of life, irani chai, biryani, pan spit stains in decrepit buildings, Telangana Telugu, etc. Oh Darling Yeh Hai Hyderabad!
