the CBZ from hero honda if u go for looks and great power...the mileage is only around 45kmpl though...else i would go in for a harvey any day...if i could afford it in indian rupees!~!

MOFA is cycle like vehicle powered by gas, used to exist in early 90\'s, something like TVS Express, dont ask me what is TVS Express now, for both of them licence is not required.

I bought my first bike in 1988. Yep! It was a Yamaha RX 100. Shiny black beauty. It used to give me 40 KPL. Fast forward 15 years. And I still have it though I dont live in India anymore. It is currently housed at my favourite mechanic in Bangalore (as I used to work there prior to heading East). Its now a exotic Dark Turquoise Blue/Green that still gives 40 KPL. Hows that for quality? Oh! I have personally finished 100,000 KM before I left india in 1995. And I believe it has finished another 100,000 KM now as per my cousin who was using it to pick up chicks. I mean shiny bike, with equally shiny exteriors, no extra flim flams, all original parts in mint and shiny condition.

TVS or Bajaj bikes shud be good. Kinetic and Honda cost a lot in terms of maintainance. My choice would be Scooty, if you feel that isn\'t an old one.

I hear you man! RX100 was the best. They upgraded the bike and now it sucks. If I ever have to buy a bike in Hyd I would only buy a used RX100.

i too agree - upgraded version sucks. rx100 rocks - it was banned bcuz of some pollution problems... later on yamaha came up with this new upgrade!!
