Hi,

I have seen fresh QUBUS being made after the Charminar Bus terminal, a little ahead on to your left. Two or three small shops... I love to try those beautiful Arabic Bread... Wish other bakers also made Qubus!

Hi everyone, I know of a few places where it is available. QUBA BAKERY opp S D Eye Hospital and Nampally, Javid Bakery @ Mallepally Masjid Complex and quite few other places around Hyd. I don\'t think what they manu near Charminar bus stand is same stuff. I\'ve tried from the places I mentioned, the best so far!

There\'s a lot of talk about this bread, is there something special about it? How is it different from other type of bread?

The specialty of this bread is, it\'s got a shelf life of 72hrs, in a fridge abt a week, and if frozen at least a month! All u need to do is to defrost for a while, you can freshen it up either in a microwave or directly on fire, and it tastes as good as fresh. Thats what i\'m living on it for many many years. It\'s kind of reasonably priced - try once.

It is like a baked roti, so you can use it according to your taste; if you are nonveg I\'ll recommend \'chicken shahi qorma\' or the \'aloo mutton qorma\'.
Let us know later!!!

Hi Smoke Jo, Qubus is a lovely bread, so tasty, soft when taken hot. Goes well with any side dish, or canned beans which are very popular in the Gulf, including our Indian Sauce(coconut chutney)... It\'s a real delight, try it out... Very good for health also, it\'s so filling. Very different from the usual English bread...

Hey Neeraja and Zafar bhai, I would love to taste it, but I am unable to make out time for it, I will surely tell my experience when I eat it. By the way I once ate this dish called \"Payya\", and with it I was served some bread... I would say a roti types (it really was good). Is this what you call Qubus? Let me know...

Hi Smocking Rock; No, that\'s not Qubus, you know! What is commonly served with Paya is \'naan or kulcha or sheermal\'; but Qubus looks like something between a chapati and a pizza base; it is like a baked roti slightly thicker; abroad it is available in white/brown/extra thick/seasame/kalonji/bran and many local variations.
