Hi friends, TV news channels pour out news on either the war on Iraq or the SARS. By their analysis and fears, this could well be much deadlier than AIDS which is acquired only through unsafe sexual methods. But SARS is acquired just through a droplet of sneeze from others. It was reported that in Hongkong, in a lift 8 persons were affected by it through a droplet of water containing the virus deposited by the sneeze of a person who travelled earlier. Do you think India has the potential to prevent an outburst of this disease in which even the so-called developed countries failed?

Hey the symptoms of SARS are :
The illness usually begins with a fever greater than 38 degrees Celsius (100.4 degrees Fahrenheit) and can be associated with chills, headache, body aches, sore throat and general malaise. There can be some initial mild respiratory symptoms. Over the next few days, symptoms can progress to increasing cough and breathing problems. The general incubation period is 2 to 7 days, but can be up to 10 days.
I guess these are suff. info on SARS sysmptoms.
