Dear XYZ,

Please try to be brave and reconcile..dont worry you need to face this situation. I suggest slowly break this news to your people and teach this arrogant guy who left you high and dry a nice lesson, so other arrogant husband will not grow, and it does not happen to any girl.

Please be brave...we are all there to support you dont worry, come back safe, and you can certainly challenge this man and can live more betteroff in India, you are educated. why do you worry....?? dont despair. Please be brave.. God will not let you down...Come Back home safe.

Neeraja, are you really gonna help the poor lady? If so, how? You said you are here to help her out, but can you defend her family on behalf of her? Can you cater to her needs (food / shelter / job etc) after her returning back? What if the lady has kids? There could be a possibility that the lady is at fault (sorry, but just an assumption)...

There you go lady, frankly you just met someone who is actually ubiquitous. Frankly, if you are legally married in indian rules, then you can file a case against that bastard. I am sure your friends would be your support at this time. Take a legal course of action and please all you tag along visa cases in united states - young gullible lucky ladies..!!!..wake up and help this soul

Hi all and funloving guy, I am prepared to support this lady in distress. Yes, shelter, food, job can be provided for her, why not...??? I mean it... Such foolish dominating arrogant men need to be taught a lesson and bought to the streets without a job. Men still don\'t know what the power of women is... As yet...

There is no need to support, just make sure this lady\'s parents know about the issue and they would support the lady better than any one of us! Also, make sure that the Interpol knows where her hubby is...

Neeraja and Vrinda,

The lady has not mentioned the cause(s) of separation. So how do you assume that the guy is at fault? Not all ladies are good. You\'ll seem to have a knack of pinpointing guys without knowing the full facts.

Hey xyz... There are shelters for abused and battered women in every state that provide shelter for cases such as yours also. I know of one in TX. If you are here let me know. Also, contact the Indian Embassy and see if they can provide any help. You may also go to the local library and do some research regarding regularising your Status and Alimony if you get a divorce or Child Support if you have any children.

agree with you all claws. hey xyz first thing you should look for is a lawyer or attorney who can protect your legal rights in the US, try contacting the TIE group in houston. don\'t think of returning here, also get any managable job that you can handle immediately so that your daily financial problem is solved. we don\'t your location in the states so that we could refer you somewhere safe.!!

It is ridiculous how everyone is jumping to conclusions here. No one knows what the facts are; However, I feel her husband shouldn\'t have asked her to leave as she has no other help.

Well, dear XYZ, hold your thoughts, relax, please go back and think, I know its not easy to find our own faults (if any) but please for God\'s sake try and see if there\'s anything you can do to undo what happened. There\'s nothing wrong in \"not quarelling\" even when you are in the right. So do what you can for your own and your parents\' sake. But, if you can\'t go back, call Narika an organization in US to help Indian women like yourself, there number is 800 215 7308, there website is http://www.narika.org. They are based in Berkely, California but I believe they work through out US.
They should be able to help you in any matter including your legality of stay in US.

Hi Faheem, thank you for the information. Well, it is a domestic problem, but it happens in a foreign land where the women has no one to seek help... How can someone ditch a woman asking her to just leave? So the concern is also for seeking the Interpol so the lady is safely bought back to the home country... People like this can even resort to homicide by elimenating the lady to get of her... So Faheem, please think...

Faheem bhai.!! great inputs. that narika.org seems the right thing for xyz at the moment, besides in almost every major city in the US they have Asian American Societies who will be more than willing to help her.
As far as the Interpol thing.!!! don\'t worry too much.!! you know our \'hyd.gals\' probably don\'t know the difference between Home Guards and the BSF, let alone the interpole or the FBI.

Neeraja, I respect your passion to help this lady; but you are missing my point, what do you know about what happened? Although, I agree her husband shouldn\'t have simply asked her to leave, but I will not just based on this information conclude that the lady is the victim and the guy is not. About interpol..... trust me, they will not do anything to help her reach home safely, for that there is local law enforcement in US. If she is in trouble at home or outside, she just needs to call a 3 digit phone number in US and the cops, fire and medical help will be at the door in minutes. Please don\'t mind me.. but I don\'t appreciate you prejudging the guy as the bad guy.

Thanks Bull, Yes, Narika has done a good job so far. About our Hyd girls not knowing the difference between Home Guard, BSF and Interpol.... I guess its because they never dealth with them or were never interested, but now they are getting involved more with the administration so here\'s the difference. Honestly, I wouldn\'t blame them for there lack of knowledge on this.

Hello xyz, assuming your story is true, I suggest you meet the Indian woman organisations in the USA. There\'re a lot more Indians in the US to give a helping hand than in India.

Guys and Gals
Take a break. Did anyone of you ever wondered if XYZ is reading all these responses leave alone implementing them. After all, the whole thing might be just a concocted master-piece. But the silver-lining to this whole episode is, it shows, that we hyderabadi\'s are ever ready (or at least make an attempt) to help anyone in distress.
