Saurav\'s spineless team is definitely not even remotely near to Kapil\'s Devils! Wait for 20 more years???? I would say, forget it. If there was ever a chance this was it. This match surely showed the difference between Boys and Men! Gosh! at least play the complete 50 overs. Looks like Saurav\'s boys are more in a hurry to finish this off than Ponting\'s. My message for all the guys here in USA (who spent quite a lot and woke up at 3.00 AM in the morning) - Get Real! There is more to life than Cricket.

Put a lid on it Anil , I know it was a disppointing end to our World Cup aspiration. But don\'t forget we really did a good job coming into the finals. I just wish it wasn\'t as one-sided as it was. But then it\'s just your day sometimes, and sometimes it just isn\'t. And public memory is very short. After the debacle in our 2nd prelim round match with the Aussies, there was such a hue and cry. People burnt effigies, threw stones... Then once India won against Pakistan, there was no one better. They were heroes again. And now again that they lost in the final, they are again the filth of the earth. But I do agree, there is more to this world than cricket. But good luck India, next time around... And jolly good show in reaching the finals...

A few reasons that the Indian players are not the best:<br><br>
1) It\'s almost always a one-man army (what after Sachin retires?)<br>
2) Players in international level are not suppposed to bowl no-balls and wides all through the match (no control over the ball - the conditions can\'t be so bad!!)<br>
3) Lack of seriousness (why was Zaheer Khan smiling and enjoying himself while talking to Sachin in the dressing room after Sachin got out? everyone knew the match was over, but that doesn\'t mean that you shouldn\'t fight). While collecting the medals, how many were smiling and how many were upset? The face is an index of the mind.<br>
4) Most importantly, with the huge population India has, it is not possible to locate the best talent. Australia\'s population is similar to that of Delhi - quiet easy to spot talent and hone it.

HUH!! Not exactly. The face is not always the index of the mind. The guys are professionals - you cannot expect them to cry in the crowd on loss of the Cup. Please remember, it was totally out of the blue that the Indians were seen in the finals. Even the cricketers did not expect that they would take the runners up position. They were in fact more doubtful of getting through the Super Six (as said in an interview by Ganguly in Set Max, long ago). Thanks to the team for the amazing performance all through the tournament.

See, that\'s the attitude we should shun. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar! No one remembers runner ups. Its cruel and harsh but that\'s the truth. Dream to be a champion, strive to be one! And opportunities definitely don\'t knock at the same door twice. Remember, it took 20 years for us to reach this stage. Don\'t you think, that little extra (which we were so lacking in) would have did wonders. OK, I do agree, runners up is not bad - But not losing by such a margin and boasting, ah! we did reach the finals. I am sure no one would have felt dejected if we lost by 20 or 25 runs! The sayings that \"winning is not everything\" is for losers. Winning is THE Thing and Everything!

I guess people will stop talking about the great Indian resurgence after yesterday\'s show. Let\'s keep our mouths shut for the next 4 years. I dunno when we will have guys like a Bret Lee and a Symonds and McGrath in our team... and I am not even talking of top rate guys like Gilchrist, Ponting etc...
