FIRST DATE - WHADDO I WEAR?

I\'m totally frazzled. What do I wear? This is my first date and I can\'t decide whether I should be hip or just the way I am (which is nothing to write home about, mind you!) I want to be both... I need help! FAST! Personally, I like being hip and hot, but it might be a tad wannabe!

Well... If I were the guy whom you dated, I would prefer to see you in a cream color chudidaar ...with gold colored bordered chunni. And neatly combed hair with some fragrant jasmines, florilegium, a thin n simple chain falling over ur neck, and a cute handpurse. No colors on your face please... Have fun!

hi boo, i don\'t think it is okay to be hip and hot on the very first date. jeans and T-shirt is not a bad idea, but try a salwar... i think that would be better, if u are taking this date seriously and as something for a life long thing... kriswithluv@yahoo.com...

Well, he\'s quite tall... and geeky at that. He\'s not exactly those DUDE sorts. Very conventional in all aspects... But very street smart. Cunning and cute and conventional. The only brand he believes in is VIP Frenchie, and that about it. Down to earth is more like it. But I can\'t figure if he likes women to be hip. No point going out all dolled up like a seedhi saadi behenji when he could be gawking at a hip gal which could have well been me! Well, are those clues enough? What\'s it gonna be like?

Oh, do you need to??? Wear normal stuff... And according to the place your meeting. Whether it\'s a pub or a garden or a room or anywhere else, wear according to the place.

Your boyfriend seems more like a bundle of contradictions (just judging by what you mentioned)! On one hand you say he is very conventional and doesn\'t care about brands and stuff but on the other hand you are also alarmed that his heart might flutter at seeing another well-endowed one. What I mean is, take it easy

And if he is real and not fictitious (even thought he does sound to be one), just be yourself - wear what you can carry on with elegance!

my dear Anil, men are a bundle of contradictons, to say the very least. People keep cribbing about how women are really difficult to understand and all that jazz, but to get into a man\'s head is terribly diffucult. and the worst part is, because they\'re so hung up constantly in their stupid veneer of machismo and exaggerated sense of self, it becomes really difficult to guage what exactly they want. Yeah, i know getting some action figures really high on every chap\'s agenda... but apart from that they\'re quite diffcult to decipher (whew! this is one heck of a long post

). anyways, i know i\'ll probably see some angry posts about how men are really sensitive and warm and all that crap, but hey fellas... let\'s get real here!

yaar whats the big deal....wear what ever u like....these thumb rules may be useful.. 
(1)if u gonna meet in a pub...definitely dont wear traditional...i mean salwar kinda 
(2)meeting anywhere else...wear anythin u like..make sure u don look like a joker/jokeress... 
(3)meetiing in a place like temple

(ppl do date in such places)....i would recommend something traditional... 
(4)irrespective of the guy...use some jazzy english ..with some sweet telugu....MOST important... 
(5)dont embarass him....this is dangerous if the guy is too timid....he may feel u r out of his league... 
Cant think of anymore at this time...have a nice time...

This is the filthiest thing I have ever heard - wear condoms? What\'s your dumb business to tell this kinda thing anyway? Firstly, Boo, be yourself. Your fisrt date may well be artificial if you follow advices. If you pretend to be someone else, any duffer would come to know of it soon. Be yourself - if the guy does not like you that way, ask him to take a walk.

Well, this is the angry post that u have been dreading... First about guys wanting to get \"some action\"... You seem to be the one hell bent that he gawk/oogle/drool/lech at u. And finally a word of advice... How long are you gonna keep dressing up for this guy? Might as well live your life... See if he appreciates it. If he doesn\'t, might as well find someone who does...

just wear something pleasant that u r comfortable in.. and i think u will be fine.

well, considering i work and stuff, it happened after work (which was why i was dying about those clothes!!!). anyways, we guys met up at the multiplex and then debated for about an hour as to which movie to catch... and then... (lemme know if you\'re reading this... i\'ll write the rest later... i\'m online all thru the day anyways)

there are about 1300 message boards on this site...each of them not quite to our own tastes...if DATING and the like dont quite interest you, i suggest you click away and find a message string that suits your tastes. I\'m sure the site has enough material to keep you suitably away from stuff which is unpalatble to you. in other words...to each his own
