When I met Yuvraj and Kumble

This is one of the most amazing things that ever ever happened to me. It\'s a bit old but well, I think it\'s kind relevant. Here\'s what happened..I was returning home for vacation and I had a 14 hr stop @ the Singapore airport incidentally Yuvraj Singh and Anil Kumble were on their way to Auckland. I met them outside this south indian restaurant in the Singapore Airport and well I took a few pictures and then I rushed to call home and tell my family about it. My little brother ordered me to get their autographs and well since he bullies he so much and I love him so much (hehehehe!) I thought I better do it!! So I go back and they were eating ...I went over and asked them if they could sign an autograph for my brother. Kumble said \"ofcourse, just after we finish\". I was so overwhelmed and excited at that time ..I had no idea what was going on in my head. These words came out of my mouth \"Could I sit here with you?\" as I was saying this, I almost pulled out a chair. After I said those words ..I had realized what I just asked for. I asked to sit their ..and WATCH THEM EAT!!! I mean ..i felt so silly and stupid after I said that! Kumble ..still not frustrated said \"Could you please wait till you finish!\". Thankfully, by this time I had gotten back to senses and managing to push my excitement aside I said \"ofcourse\". I was waiting for about 15 mins and all I could think of was ..what the hell was i thinking!!!! hehehe! ..well anyway ..after they finished ..not only did they sign autographs ..they also posed for a couple of pictures more and the best part of it all ..I was chatting with them on our way back from the restaurant to the waiting lounge. These guys are amazing ..they dont have any kind of superiority complex whatsoever..They dont have this air/ego ..of being who they are. They are extremely down to earth and very very friendly. This is when I thought ..how could the commentators be so so so hard on them and how could they be so condescending on them ..not just the commentators ..but even the fanatic fans ..the ones that do horrible things to these players..they are nice people ..and they deserve respect. yes they make money and lots of it but let\'s not forget that they\'re human beings for god\'s sake!!! I can bet that 95% of the people who make as much money as they do ..will be buried in ego and would never ever come down to reality ..but these guys would. I was looking at them and they were so peaceful and so relaxed! Trust me they dont deserve the kind of stick we give them for a bad performance ..they\'re human beings and more importantly ..they\'re nice people!!!

great experience!! We seldom get to aquaint with such modest people on earth. U might have had a wonderful time... Anwyays, I\'m not much into cricket... but never missed any of the world cup matches of India.

Heheh Khatta! do you think i\'d make up somethin like that ..if i had to ..i\'d say i met up with some really hot gurl that all guys dream of being with and buddy ....that\'s when you wake me up
