my dear friend i want to make the same thing clear to you..that whatever musharaff says may go on record for UN or US but we(not you and i but indian government or policy makers watever u call them)can\'t believe that simply bcoz we r actually facing the problem not US or UN.. we know very well how UN works so definitely its not the reference for us...leagal protocals,bla,bla,bla..come into picture when everything is fine..we are at war with pakistan..though its of different kind...as far as the \"strong action\" is concerned y would any one else except india take action against pakistan..its not a problem for them..are we taking any action against chechenya,palestina,etc..think practically and please dont talk about protocals,official stand, UN,etc they always sound nice but the only reality is that we have to solve our problems no one is bothered about us..so my answer to your question is yes we have to and only we can take strong action against pakistan....finally, whether its for apartments or for countries protocals exist as long as they are willing to follow it..otherwise war begins..but we are already at war..

shahed,problems do exist always so it does not mean that we should stop trying to solve or simplify them..offering help to america is one such move..i am really surprised how could you say that pre 9/11 afganisthan was not our enemy..many of the militants crossing our border had their bases in afganisthan...just imagine why would they otherwise hijack a plane and take it to afganisthan if that was not their safe haven..yes its unfortunate to have fights..but thats the reality and we have to fight to stop these fights!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Vivek fine, as far as we are in the circles of humanism and think about r and others development. But this should be attitude on both the sides right? I guess ppl(military or Terrorists) from r(India) side won\'t try to invade as much as from the ppl from PK side. But it is the matter of our country, r freedom, r future we should preserve them. Eventhough Pk is the country emerged from r land we no way should allow to disturb r country what ever may be the reason. They know that their economy condition but still they don\'t behave responsibly to drive away the economy crises and put lot of their budget for military and other side activities, m not saying we won\'t do, we do to counter act their activities. By giving this statement m not backing r system, we do have have some limitations in r attitude to approach to this problem. But to solve this problem we should have common understanding on both the sides. What we lack is this and embark on the things which take us to fight and devast r own brothers or neighbours. For this on both the sides specially in the people awareness has to come about the real consequence v may face if this problem prolong.

Vijay, I totally respect whatever u have said in ur above posts. If I said the above post is not true then I would be wrong, and if I said it were true then again I would be wrong. The lenses in the abyss of our mind are so focused that we see pakistan always on the basis of kashmir issue, India is no saint either. I thot most of the guys here are kinda mature and was expecting a more rational view on this ... I guess I was expecting too much. finally there is more to pakistan than just the kashmir issue and the agra pacts and the shimla conspiracy (if I am allowed to call it that way), it is the destiny of indians and pakis to share mutual hatred. We Indians cannot afford the same kinda treatment towards china because they are bigger and stronger than us...musharaff is a serpent headed mask..yeah like I care!! hate.kill.kill.repeat. no problem with rest of your argument popes, but just to let you know...China aint stronger than India \"militarily\". India has better air force and navy power and thats one reason why they still cant go open about the boundary thing.(guess, somebody will point out to the 1962 war...we cud start a whole new board there)

hi ayesh - i want to tell you something... i am in the U. S., and i am studying here. You know, if u come here u can see how pakistanis and indians r together. they live together, party together, celebrate festivals together... u see, true friendship. this feeling of hostility is created by our beloved leaders. we indians and pakistanis are sons of a single mother. we r not able to meet them and they also r not able to meet us, and hence we don\'t know each other. that is the reason we conclude by ourselves all these wrong feelings.
