i feel they should have an open mind n heart to receive the partner\'s views, +ve as well as -ve points. they should understand the partner n if wanted to oppose anything, it should be in a soft n positive way. they should love unconditionally!

Rani Reddy, the answer is quite simple. If the man and woman (husband and wife) were raised in a happy family, they just have to follow what their parents did and if they were unfortunate to witness a strained and unhappy relationship between their parents, they should avoid doing what their parents did! - We grow watching our parents and they are the best example.....Got it?......good.

Husband expects a lot of things from Wife, so I believe simply if he gives back the samething to the Wife as what he expects from her... things will move smoothly and the samething applies to Wife too

In my opinion there is no definete answer to this question. Human beings are the most complex creatures - quite unpredictable in terms of behaviour and attitude. I think for a less unhappy life a couple should have reasonable tolerance,understanding and respect for each other.

I totally agree with kulcha bhai\'s point of view and I personally think that a happy marriage takes a lot of sacrifice and compromise from both the partners.
