A Test match without any spectator

Changing pace of life , busy schedules , Advance technologies in TV. Cameras , Availability of Channels....... friends what do you think about a 5 days cricket test match in coming years. Will the people have time visit stadium and watch match by staying long hours for 5 consecutive days Or they prefer to stay at home and watch the game on T.V in which each and every movement will be shown cystal clear with different angles and repeatations . Another aspect is there are few incidents where two groups clashes(other sports) and caused several casualties, stadium collapses , fees and parking and other numerous factors can they force the spectators to get away from stadium. How do you see future of a test match at any stadium in coming years.

Future of Test Match Cricket – Interesting topic. Given the fanatic following for the game, I guess test cricket in India will still draws large number of people to the stadiums. Australia too enjoys huge ground spectator support. There has been some decline in attendance in other countries. Even though one doesn’t get to see the match with all the trimmings that TV provides, still, the joy and charisma of being at the stadium is different. The ambience, the atmosphere and the sheer pleasure of being among those thousands is terrific. May be, as grown-ups, we don’t dig for it any more, but ask any youngster, he or she will just do anything to be at the stadium. Cricket’s governing body ICC must think of ways and means to keep Test Match Cricket interesting to the spectators. To make test matches exciting, they could restrict overs per innings, thereby guaranteeing a result. To make more people come to grounds, they can introduce day/night test matches. At least in India, I don’t foresee a decline in the attendance at test matches.. We got millions and they all love cricket!
