Waht a way of representing US, You-Yes :) . The first time I read was confused a bit. :?

Obviously the life style is much poor compared to the US.

Thanx for writing in.

Rang De Basanti

by VJ » Sun Sep 17, 2006 7:09 pm

Rang De Basanti I remember where the actors were influenced by their roles and applied it in the real life i.e. the story of the movie speaks........ :)

I know everyone watches movies for fun, but did anyone think or feel atleast once that it should have happened in their personal lifes or its too close to their own lifes............. :) then start thinking from that perspective and coming up with a decision............. :) Not sure..............

Pay It Forward

by curlytopper » Mon Oct 02, 2006 8:54 am

The last movie that I saw which inspired me to take action in my life is "Pay It Forward" starring Haley Joel Osmond and Kevin Spacey. I was deeply touched by the film's message and I thought if I can do little things everyday that can touch other people then why not do it. In some way I try to practice doing good deeds everytime I have the chance to do so. I think that it not only makes me a better person but it also makes a positive impact on the people around me and the way they approach life.

Hmmm Last year I watched the movie "victims of war".

Its a movie based in the context of veitnaam war where you have this girl a veitnamese being repeatedly raped ...and in the last mutlilated killed by a gang of brat soldiers...

After this movie I stopped watching porn It developed a sense of respect for women in me

how extreme men can go for their thirst

A must watch film about war crime..

And have a look at the movie "the beast" another classic movie on afghan war

Inspirational Movies

by CaRtOoNiSt » Wed Nov 22, 2006 7:56 am

For me, the emotional high you experience after watching an inspirational movie and the urge to do good or follow the example etc is very similar to New Year Resolutions- it stays with u for a very short period.

*You watch Pay it Forward and want to help 3 people.

*You watch Swades and dream of doing something good for ur country.

*You watch RDB and decide you can help root out corruption.

*You watch Lage Raho Munnabhai and expect things to run smothly just by following non-violence!

Now, back to reality.

*You wont have the time in your busy wrk schedule to help sum1!

*You still need the dollars, so u remain abroad!

*You buy tickets in black to watch RDB again! (aint that corruption?)

*You try to get ur car out of the parking lot after watching Lage Raho, but the traffic is blocked. YOU LEAVE UR HORN BLARING!!! cant keep ur cool for 15min and ur dreaming of folowing NON-VIOLENCE!?!

comon guys....we all pledge to do great things each new year. do u really keep them?

Dhoom

by VJ » Sun Nov 26, 2006 10:03 pm

It looks like there are increasing number of fans for DHOOM. Especially the motor bikers coming up with different stunts with the bikes as shown in the movie DHOOM. I have seen in the NDTV news that some of students met in forums, became friends and started practising the stunts on the bikes on the INDORE highway. They even got a call from Delhi police to join the police academy. How great was that. Inspired by watching DHOOM, passionate to perform the stunts and now in a different career all together

Nonetheless, there are also rumours coming out saying some bikers are snatching the chains from the womens neck and running away on their bikes. Different kind of inspiration..........
