Dear Hyderabad Volunteers,
If you are serious about volunteering, here are some opportunities:

1. BHUMI is having a sanitation drive in the Rasoolpara area this Sunday from 9:30 am
2.Bhumi is looking for Mentors and Coordinators for their Mentorship program, which they will launch in November. Immediate response from interested parties is requested.
3.I am looking for people to help me with developing education materials for community-based health programs
4.I am looking for people to help champion the RTI Act and its use for improving public life.

Hi Guys,

3) Volunteers needed at a NGO that works with deaf children

4) Need volunteers to take the HYDERABAD VOLUNTEERS group/concept forward along with me, Shyam and Dr. Sreenu

5) Encouraging Family and friends to volunteer

6) Need Volunteers to help with BHUMI Health Programs (time commitment 2-3 hrs computer time/week, 2-4 hrs. on Sunday mornings, more volunteers means better schedules for everyone!)



In addition I will be keeping regular office hours at CSIM from next week, M, W, F from 11:30am-2:00pm. My goal is to help everyone find the volunteering activity that best suits your interests, time and expertise. So drop by and have a chat! I will also try to be there this Saturday from 1:30-3:00 pm

So, did you guys seriously think I'd give up this easily?? Of course not!! We're back...........sign up for the Hyderabad volunteers group ( see link below) if you haven't done so already. That way you can keep an eye on activities in your community and whenever your calendar opens up- lend a hand and do something useful!

CSIM announces 9th batch of Social Entrepreneurship Outlook Program

Center for Social Initiative and Management (CSIM), Hyderabad
(supported by Dr.Reddy's Laboratories Ltd) is a learning Center that
enrolls, discovers and shapes social entrepreneurs, supports the
process of social entrepreneurship in NGOs and academic institutions
and encourages volunteers to understand and adopt the principles of
social entrepreneurship.

Social Entrepreneurship Outlook Program (SEOP) draws on the concept of
social entrepreneurship and introduces management skills such as
strategic planning, innovation and effective resource management. The
course is offered to board members of NGOs, social workers, volunteers
and professionals from corporate as well as development sectors.
Who can apply: Board members of NGOs, volunteers, social workers and
professionals from corporate and development sectors.

Duration of the course: 4 months
Course Fee: Rs3000/-
Mode of Selection: Personal interviews
Next Batch Starts on February 3, 2007
Last date for submission of filled-in application forms: January 15,
2007
Classes will be held on Saturdays from 2pm to 6pm.
