Lot of people buy a digital camera without knowing the technicalities of the same, like what megapixels they need to get an optimum image for their needs. For example if you are making prints upto 6"x4" all you have to do is multiply the number of horizontal pixels by vertical pixels of the prints at say 300 ppi, which is approximately 216000 pixels, which translates into 2.16 megapixels so you can go for a 2 to 3 MP camera for most of your needs. Simple....

I have a Sony CD Mavica. 3 Megapixel, 3X Optical & 6X Digital zoom. What are the different lenses that I can add on to this.



One thing I would interested in is a lens to improve Optical zoom. Appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks for your response & I am happy that you read my article. Coming to you question, I am afraid that your camera is a fixed lens camera & you cannot remove the current lens & fix another of your choice. I hope you are quite happy with the results as Sony gives very good color fidelity & contrast in daylight as well as in available light(indoors).
