Man murders two minor daughters


Siddipet (Medak): A poor man worried about the marriage of his two daughters, killed them here in the wee hours of Sunday. According to Medak Officer on Special Duty Manmohan, Gurram Malla Reddy alias Butchi Reddy of the town had killed his daughters Swapna, 16 and Pranusha, 12, by slitting their throats with a knife.

Malla Reddy, who migrated from Chinnalingapur village in Karimnagar district to Sangareddy 11 years ago, was a beedi roller. However, he had to stop working due to ill health. the OSD said that Rajeswari, Malla Reddy’s wife, was feeding the family by rolling beedis.

The couple used to argue over the marriage of their daughters. On Saturday, Rajeswari, along with her son Raju, went to Timmayipalli village in Nangunur mandal to see her ailing uncle. Malla Reddy told his wife that he would go to Hyderabad to look for a job. But he stayed at home and killed his daughters while they were fast asleep. He ransacked utensils and also took earrings of his daughters and Rs 3,000 from the house in a bid to make it look like theft.

After this , Malla Reddy went to his brother-in-law’s house in Ramachandrapuram in Karimnagar.
Rajeswari,returned on Sunday morning to find her daughters dead. She informed the police.
Malla Reddy first said that robbers may have killed their daughters, but he later confessed to the police. Speaking to reporters at the Siddipet circle inspector’s office, Malla Reddy said that he had killed his daughters due to poverty. He said that he had also decided to kill himself.

I dont disagree with dowry worries being facts of life. But this guys is nothing but a sick mofo. What kind of a sob slits his own kids throats. And he is saying he planned to kill himself. WTF....if he planned to kill himself why didnt he do it right then when he slit the two poor kids. Living off his wife's salary, mofo had an idle brain and went nuts. I Hope he gets the rope, the crime was a breach of trust. "Breach of Trust" was the argument used by the Supreme Court some time back to hang that Bengali watchman rapist.
