It is a real shame to know that a person like Rahul Mahajan could be involved in drugs. Not one month has passed since his father expired and he is having a celeberation with champagne and drugs. And the secretary also with him--imagine.

This person is supposed to occupy the seat left vacant by his late father. What can we expect from the BJP if they have leaders like .......shall I put any more names.!!!!!!!!!!!!

They forgot to mention he also won the Magsaysay :D. This seems to be some other Rahul Mahajan, lady. The one who was snorting last night had a rather different profile.

To answer the original post on this thread, I do not think Rahul Mahajan was celebrating. I read that he had problems of depression, and was on medication for a long while for that. After his dad's death the problems turned severe, and he took to an overdose of cocaine to handle it.

Just thought of something...maybe Pramod Mahajan had been battling with his son's drug problem, which is why he couldn't pay too much attention to Pravin Mahajan, but since it was a "family problem" he couldn't tell him abt it. This probably led Pravin to misinterpret Pramod's diverted attention as ignoring him.

I'm assuming that the overdose the other day was not the first time it happened...but it got aggravated with his dad's death...

Maybe...who knows...right?.... :?:

Man, I should write a book someday....

Hello Kavya.

I am not stupid. Only thing I heard the news on starplus that Rahul Mahajan was being considered for the BJP Post. If I made a mistake I apologise.

As I am on it, I am surprised at the Indian Police Department who, when they catch a smuggler with drugs they identify the drugs on the spot and when they see white powder, they have to send the same to the lab for identifying the stuff. Is this only for the big shots.

Since when are u living out of India?? Apart from being offered RS seat, this guy was also being considered for the post of Vice President - BJYM

Are u aware that when a Politician croaks, his wife / son / daughter are offered his seat. And the great politicians and their political parties magnanimously offer not to contest the new leader.

In recen tpast, this must have happened atleast 10 times in AP itself. Most recent being the MLA who was killed in Mahaboobnagar dist. No political party contested against him. Only fight was between the family members, as to who is the rightful heir.

Ofcourse, it is dynasty. Nehru>Indira>Rajeev>Sonia>Rahul>Whoever Juannita gives birth to or Priyanka's kid

YS Jagan is already touted as future CM of AP

We are suckers for dynasty.

seems strange why this issue is hyped to such an extent. there are far too important things going around in India and around the world. media is just grabbing the attention of the comman man. what shit does it matter to a person if a son of the politician snorts cocaine or smokes grass. c'mon give me a break its there life let them manage or is it the price they are paying for being high profile. about politics and politicians carrying the dynasty i feel like that everything is being taken for granted. no one can tell whether the son of a doc becomes a doc or an engineer for teh matter of fact but its sure that the son or daughter of a politician becomes a politician may be because it does not need any education or the best it does not have any reservation! what say Mr Arhun Singh? shall we talk of resrevation in politics?
how happy is he born and free,
who serveth not anothers will,
whose armour is his honest thought and,
simple truth his utmost skill..........

Yes, if the musicians do LSD, then it helps them get more creative, but politicians are heckled for the same thing. :?

Anyway, he did not have any drugs in his blood, according to the reports.
