I am now employed in a decent company and working on a project which is challenging and fulfilling. We have set out to educate every Database Programmer with all the techniques required to develop complete database apps. I get paid well too
But, i am thinking about this Reservation issue unknowingly.
My soul tells me that i should show my solidarity with all those heroic medicos that we are with them and we will stand by you. I also want to show our Govt. that it is time that this issue is seriously addressed and remove the thought that we are neglecting competence and performance in the name of social justice.
It is a fact that today in India competence has come to the lowest level. We are unable to protect our borders. Daily our fellow Indians are being killed.
We are unable to curb corruption, evidence is there for all to see.
We are congesting our cities beyond a point of repair. Bangalore is a classic example.
Primary education has taken a beating. Just visit a small village and see for yourself.
Politicians are breeding grounds of corruption. Visit politicians houses and you will see, number of cars, houses in posh localities.
Health is bad. See the number of over the counter medicines being sold.
Take the economic side. Black money is going around in huge numbers.
It is imperative that we need to increase the standard of merit in all walks of life.
Wrong quota policies will take us back and now is the time for all of us to come to-gether and make life better for all of us.

Madhav
