Aamir Khan as Hyderabadi in new ad

[hyderabada mazaaka]

arre hau, sona hai ke Aamir khan is featuring in a new ad, hyedrabadi banke. ab tak koi bhi (incl mehmood, Amitabh) true hyderabadi nahi ban saka. kuch ki irritating haula jaisa accent mein baath katthe woh logan. I was wondering what the local hyderabadis thought of Aamir in this ad (I havent seen it and I normally like Aamir).

I\'ve seen the ad on DD. It looks okie, the problem is with the audio. I wonder when DD is going to upgrade its equipment. But tell you what, even a hard core Hyderabadi like me had some difficulty in picking up the dialogs! The set is just wonderful. Akhtar Hyderabadi, Lad Bazar! lol...Amir has aged a million years, he looks puffed! has he been drinking a lot of late or still crying over the missed Oscar!

Unless one spends a great deal of time amongst the \"by birth Hyderabadis\"...it\'s difficult to acquire the real Hyderabadi accent and dialect..therefore even actors like Mehmood and Amitabh could not impress the audience with their dialogue deliveries.. However, one could not resist commending Johny Lever\'s performance as a Hyderabadi in the movie LAJJA.. His expressions, actions and dialogues are in apoot hyderabadi style.. an excellent piece of work.
