Today is the third match. The strategy of win the toss and bowl will continue for both the teams, but india seems to be better prepared to win in case they have bat first.

I feel its not fair to call Pathan the next Kapil Dev. Kapil is one of the greatest all-rounders world has ever seen and his shoes are very difficult to fill in.



First of all, although Pathan has been exemplary in his international career till now, nowhere has he reached the prowess of the Haryana Hurricane. Remember that when Kapil used to play, all Indian wickets were tailormade for spinners. He still achieved his tally of 400+ wickets. Moreover, the only test he missed in his entire career was due to machinations by Gavaskar, speaking reams about his fitness.



Secondly, calling Pathan the next Kapil would put him under tremendous pressure, something that he doesn't need at this stage in his career. Remember Srinath and Harbhajan too being heralded as the best all-rounders to have played for India since Kapil? All that ended up being a damp squib.

the series is now 2-1 with one to go is it, do or die situation for india now!
