Hello sergey, Welcome to Hyderabad. Are you from easter europe?

On topic: You wont find too many indians buying Big n Tall clothes, so you wont find too many stores selling them. Anyway, try Shoppers Stop in Begumpet you may find sumthing of interest there. If nothing works, you can go to a local tailor shop and get a nice pair of formal trousers stitched to fit you perfectly. It will also cost less than buying a branded trouser from life style or shoppers stop.
May the Fries be with you!

hey! welcome to hyderabad sergey! as Mayavi said u have to try at many malls n shopping centers. u can also visit the Hyderabad Central mall, not far from your hotel (i think i can guess whats yr hotel :D ), and have a look there. if u cant find any in the area nr yr hotel, its the best to find a tailor (better ask yr coworkers abt this).
wtf? i no longer care if my posts hurt yr feelings

no, i am not a native european.I am from Idaho.

haha... yeah, I watched matrix like 100 times, but thats not the reason why my nic is Morpheus.

So you are an American in India for job purpose eh? Nice. I am an Indian in America for the same purpose.... I think we shld switch.

On topic: Yes, you can get Jeans stitched in the local tailor shops. As for as cloth quality is concerned, Levis strauss, Lee and Wrangler... all procure cloth from Aravind mills, India (atleast they used to do till 2002) and make jeans. So you can buy the same cloth (available in stores) and get it stitched. The stitch quality may not be of Levis standard, but you can get a rugged jeans for sure.
May the Fries be with you!

I had visited a shop called trouser town and got myself a pair of casuals, though my search for a pair of jeans is still going on.

the shop assistant had an advice for me though.he suggested that there's a place called tirmel-something where 'all sizes' of jeans & other clothing would be available.he even proferred to buy some for me! do you think i could have trusted him?And where exactly is this place? dang! i did'nt even get the spelling correct!

and Mr.Mayavi, was your name in vogue even before laurence came up?
and regarding my work,i can't let in on much but i'll just say that i have an active role to play in what you see on this page's bottom (& left as well).
and what do you do back in the country? i presume you are a hoity-toity financier.

:? *kicking himself* :x

Apologies to all! Its jus' that i wanted this piece of info and i could'nt bring myself to ask any of you! pretty lame you might think but thatz how i felt! and now that the cat's outta the bag,i must owe up and apologize fo all the misapprehensions i 'might' have created.Esp. to mayavi & cad, sorry guys! my naiveity jus' got the better of me. I sincerely hope that this dastardly act of mine won't have any bearing upon the kinda rapport that i'd enjoyed on this boards.

i know that i have taken the unpardonable liberty of blowing a trivial issue so out of proportions and making an idiotic mockery of the ethics & etiquettes followed on the boards.I was'nt shy or coy about asking for the info that i'd wanted but just could not bring myself unto asking it as it ought to ask it-as my true self-i ended up with all this rigmarole jus' for a trivial piece of info!!!

P.S:And lk,am no chameleon...jus' goes to show that how i got accustomed to typing my name in the display box and ended up uncovering (implicating?) myself.and fyi,i had that sergey nick since a while now...the email id i have is sergeypage[at]gmail[dot]com....and who might that be

P.P.S:I 'did' get a pair from Trouser Town but still am to search at Trimulgherry (tirmel-something :? ) and fyi,it was size 44

 saala....

trimulgiri is in secbad, abt 4 kms behind the parade gounds, via jubilee bus station. if u are travelling by bus, get off at patny/ymca and go to the busstop near parade ground on the trimulgiri/alwal road. almost all busses passing that way go to trimulgiri.

trimulgiri x roads is full of factory outlets of almost all prominent and not so prominent brands sold in india. they carry good discounts. i buy most of my clothes there :D
