Ipod help!!!!

I'm having trouble with a new ipod which is barely a couple of months old. Is there any reliable source in Hydbad who can fix it?

Hi

The ipod is about 2 months old and I borrowed it for a day from my sister. It was working perfectly well until last night. When I turned it on this morning, it showed up with an icon...an ipod with a sad face and an exclamation mark next to it and turned off after a couple of seconds.

I've tried resetting it by pressing the menu and play buttons but nothing happens.

My computer no longer recognizes it when I connect the ipod via usb nor does it show up in iTunes so I cant do a restore.

I've downloaded and reinstalled the latest software updates but it hasn't been of any use nor has the ipod website been of much help either.

I've been trying to recharge the battery from a power source but instead of the battery indicator, the screen shows an apple logo followed by the same sad faced icon and the unit is getting pretty warm so I have been only leaving it connected to the power source for about 15 minutes at a time.

I'm getting frustrated now
