Sorry, me did not get time to share my experience of the meet. Lucifer and the others have already given a wonderful account. It was a very nice meet, one of the best me has been part of.

This time around, Akhil bhai was not the first one to arrive, because he was busy playing cricket (Won 2 and Lost 2, which is better than India's record :P.) Lebelle and Lucifer were already there when Grampy arrived. It had started raining, and the already crowded Eat Street got even more stuffier. HP was next to come alongwith San, and he introduced us to HH-sir. BW and Jasz floaated in next with TCNs bro, followed by Mr. And Mrs. CAD. We were such a big group that we had to wait a lot fi time before we could get a place to sit. Even when we did find places to sit, we had to split off into two groups.

San played saviour to a couple of tiny tots who had strayed away from their parent. If it was not for her, the kids would have been in a lot of trouble, and, would have been crying buckets had she not comforted them. Labelle turned out to be an expert palm reader (and not just because she had good things to say about me :P). Met HH-sir for the first time, which was an honor. Betty was her usual bright self, and told me that she wanted to kidnap Ar!e$ and bring her to the next meet. Met Betty's husband, and he turned out to be a great person! Most of us then went on from EatS to RVs, where a Bengali food festival was going on, and the food was fabulous! We had to wait for quite a while, even though Betty used her influence to minimise the delay. All in all, a wonderful meet; me cannot remember all that happened as me was too busy with.... *ahem*.

Thanks for the pics, San.... FH Meets Rock!!!

i would completely agree with HH sir. the meet was really great and at every meet i get to know a new facet of the members. this time it was san's motherly instinct and a natural flair of communication of betty. the way she communicates. i must tell that all of us are big foodies. and a special mention to Mrs CAD for her youthfulness and the way she enjoys the meet and the practical and realistic joke sof Betty's husband( has- band)

* i hope u dont mind betty for the above comment

thanks ever so much san for the photographs.

Maybe it was a subtle hint :?
Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

so, i feel i should be saying something here...

meet was great fun as ever. yeah yeah i am one amma alright. i see this kid running, screaming, crying - that is quite ok for a kid to do. but a whole min passed and no running, screaming adult followed. since the kid headed out to the street, i just had to go - what with it being dark, traffic and all that. anyway, found the poor boy confused and crying. manage to convince him to go with me to find his parents. now, this is the scary bit, the boy recognises this little girl who is all by herself. so, that's 2 from the same family missing! well, u know the rest. but when the mother was finally found, she just picked up the kids and walked off without a word or a glance :?

ps: most welcome (for the thx for the pics - did that make sense?)

pps: and i can guess why ppl must have complained about some of the members smoking, cause they don't let anyone else get a whiff of the stuff

ppps: betty, i had rau (btw, it's a fish, not a new man in my life)y'day and thought of you
