kids below 16 r are jst in their mid teens and still in their growing age..
they need their parents around them rather than a hostel warden n other strangers,ppl do think dat it will make their kids independent and discipled..but living away from home and in hostels have their disadvantages as well..if the kid is stayin in a diff city or country then its rightfully required 2 stay in a hostel.but ive seen ppl sending their kids 2 hostels even when they stay in the same city..dat is really stupid..
once the boy/grl enter their grad they may stay anywhere but atleast they r mature enuff 2 stay on their own so why send them off at a young age..
