Well, it was yet another disappointing final for India. Srilanka as usual reigned supreme in their own backyard.

With the kind of start we got I thot we will make it. the pitch was really good for batting...and the bowling didnt look particularly threatning. The fielding by the lankans however was top class. Thats the reason they cld. pull itoo in the end when the indians tried to up the run rate.

Two turning points in the indian ininngs...

1. Sehwags wicket - Shd. have been there for another 5-6 overs.... the match wld. have been sealed by then.

2. Dravids Wicket - Got out because of a stupid misunderstanding at the worst possible time.

:x  :(

nice to see Aussies under pressure...With McGrath still doubtful to play today England would be relieved...

I read somewhere that the ball of the series was the one McGrath stepped on before the second test started :) How true it turned out to be...Inspite of Aussies talking abt their bench strength time n again, McGrath n Warne are those kind of bowlers who cant b replaced...

On this tour both the teams hav produced the cricket of very high quality..hope it remains so...Me enjoying it and wanting Australia to struggle hard for their win rather than roll over the opposition...

come on akhibhai y u want flintoff removed ... I dont think Aussies being Aussies should not care who is in the opposition ... but England being England will play him even if he is 50% fit :) ... They hav promoted him as their key player n more over flintoff will b on his home grnd 2day

Grt knock by Michael Vaughan one of the best innings in recent times.... he will remember this for a long time. Bell made a contribution dint he!!!! I would luv to see this guy carry one and get past 3 figures, he showed tremendous character in that patient unbeaten 50 of his.

Now england need to be careful tomorrow to start and not let Aussies back into it. They need to put up anther 200 on the board

Wat the _ do u mean man????

Ganguly is one of the best captains in contemporary cricket without a flash of doubt. u guys always seem to be cribbin against him I find no reason.... I think he produced one of the all time great ininngs a cpl of seasons bak whn he scores 144 against the aussies at gabba and I think tat was the most imp ininngs of tat series keeping in mind dravids 233, sachins 241* and Lax's 175.......

He is a grt leader and I am sure he will strike form soonnnnnnn
