the only factor where Esteem loses out is that its interiors are drab, cramped and uncomfortable, compared to other cars in its class.

another hot performer i have driven is the old Honda City-VTEC...

thats a 'wow' performer!

too bad its no longer in production (cudnt find pix in net either). the present generation Honda City's are lousy performers but better in fuel efficiency.

Fiat is loosing market share inspite of having good cars because it is not able to match the after sales service of other co.s like maruti or hyundai.

cummon! Maruti's range of cars are something u can close yr eyes n buy...u never get cheated on quality! its after sales support is unmatched too! the most -ve thing i found abt Maruti's products is that most of their cars have cramped and drab interiors. perviously they didnt change designs for ages, tho now they have started changing them at least once a year!

for the record, i dont own a Maruti

Subaruuuuuuuuuuuuuu

by Sachin » Thu Aug 04, 2005 7:19 pm

The SUBARU WRX - STI is the best car I have driven

turbo charged engine with 300 hp's I can accelerate like mad evn in my 4th or 5th gear. Man it was awesome zoooooooooooom vroooooooooooom

At the intersection where the most performance-directed type of Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive meets a 300-hp turbo boxer engine, you will find the super-charged driving experience of the WRX STi.

300-hp 2.5-liter turbocharged boxer engine with Active Valve Control System (AVCS)

Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with helical-type limited-slip front differential and mechanical limited-slip rear differential

High performance sport-tuned 4-wheel independent suspension

Brembo performance braking system with Super Sport ABS

17 X 8.0-inch 10-spoke BBS lightweight aluminum-alloy wheels with ultra high-performance tires1

Iridium spark plugs

STi-design front seats

it costs u 32000 $.........

Me has been not fortunate enough to have driven a Honda V-Tec, although have been passenger on it quite a few times. From the passengers view, it looks to be a solid car, and CAD can add me to the list of admirers of the original V-Tec.

Have driven a Ford Ikon Nxt on Necklace Road :D and thoroughly loved it, especially the way it grips the surface under acceleration.

If me buys a car now, it will HAVE to be either a Suzuki Swift or a Ford Ikon.

Maruti has a proven track record and it's reliability, affordability and simplicity are some of the main reasons why people like it. Me owned and drove a Maruti Omni for 15 years and it never gave us any problems. Maruti is not an under-performer just because it seems to be common and drab.
