Does Hydabd Rock or does it shock

Depends on your point of view. If by \'rock\' you mean billion-year old igneous mono- and multi-liths, it\'s got plenty of those (damn good job too, if you ask me). On the other hand, if you mean rythmic forms of music, more often than not involving the electronic distortion of sounds emanating from a six-stringed instrument, then Hyderabad\'s got plenty of that too, if you know where to look. However, shock is something that, in my opinion, Hyderabad does NOT do.

 Actually, I\'m looking for this one. I did attend a few concerts by Moksha, Parikrama, AlterEgoz and so on, but these events seem so scarce and happen so far away (as in, TI).
 
 Also, i\'m looking for some jamming crowd. Any suggestions?

I agree with you in that events like rock shows are a rarity here in Hyd. However, Hyderabad does have a number of decent rock bands, but they don\'t have much visibility. Alter Egoz and Sledge are the more well known of these. Last I heard, Alter Egoz used to play every week at the Underdeck (I hope they\'ve changed their lead singer!) You\'ll have to keep your ear to the ground if you want to catch the other local events though, since they don\'t do much by way of advertising. In case you\'re interested (here I go again) Indian Ocean\'s coming to town on the 11th of Jan.
 If, by \'jamming crowd\' you mean people who play, fullhyd could be a starting point for your search, considering both PSD and I play the guitar...

I don\'t play in a band and as far as I know, neither does PSD, but the both of us used to play in college (separate colleges, separate bands)

Why don\'t you come to the meet on Sat and we\'ll hook up?
