Yuvraj is doing OK. Raina has impressed. Venugopal rao batted well.

...and it could have been worse. Its really irritating to see the windies surrendering meekly, their best players are not avlbl. coz of some disptue between cricket board and players...which is absolutely rediculus.

Hope India wins today now that sourav ganguly is back to strengthen the middle order.

Pervez Maharoof will b the biggest threat.

Interestin game on now - Sri Lanka 88/4 (23.0 ov)

India has the edge

IT was an avg battin performance by India ganguly restored some parity wit the selectors wit his painstakingly slow half century but runs are runs and on these slow low lankan pitches it was a gud effort by ganguly. Pathan provided some fire late in the innings to take india well over the 200 mark. I think no.8 is fine for him no need to move him up i guess....

AFA Pathan is concerned, he has batting talent...Sandeep Patil (once his coach) mentioned that Pathan cud b a regular no. 6 batsman for india in TEST Cricket...

Laxman, Michael Clarke, Pieterson, Arnold.... of the cricket being played arnd the world currently these guys play at No. 6 for their repective nations.... is Pathan of the same class.... I dont knw wat made Sandeep Patil say that but he is fine at No.8 in both forms of the game. If he does really well they might think of moving him upto NO.7.

Dude Pathan is much better than Arnold on current basis. Arnold can play cricket on these docile pitches...nowadays he cant even do that also

See Pathan's county batting scores this season for Middlesex playing in English conditions. You will know a lot...Certainly No. 8 is very low for this guy. Its not only Sandip Patil, even John Emburey was impressed with him.

lanka need 61 frm 13 with 4 wickets left, they are take it to the wire....

comin to Pathan, Razzaq was promoted to no.3 not to groom him sir jus becoz pakistan had too many lower order batters. They wanted one of their main batters like inzi and yousuf to come arnd at 5 and 6. Coz they had moin at 7 wasim at 8.... Pathan is a decent bat but u cant justify him comin higher than no.8
