do you believe in ghosts?

by virgin_mary » Mon Jun 13, 2005 4:27 pm

Here is a story, which i read lately.......do enjoy reading it!

This happened in my house; we were having Thanksgiving and my Mom would always put a plastic cover in the hall so nobody would drop food (they were messy eaters). That night, two of my cousins slept over and we were in the living room watching the Exorcist when we heard footsteps on the plastic. We thought it was my Dad getting a midnight snack or something but then it stopped in the middle of the hallway; we checked and there was nothing there so we ignored it. About 4 in the morning we heard it again and again there was nothing.

The next day we asked my mom if she heard it and she told us this story about the lady that used to live there. She had six kids and 3 of them died; she murdered them. The rest of the kids were young so they didn't really know what was going on and no one found out until 15 years later when she went crazy saying her 3 kids were trying to kill her. She then confessed.

My dad bought that house for my mom for their 1st month anniversary but he didn't know anything happened until my mom got pregnant with my sister (its just two of us). Every time my mom would put the key in to get in the house you could hear kids running and saying "She's coming! She's coming hide!" I guess they thought it was their mom because she was also abusive before she killed her three sons.

It happened until my mom had her 1st baby then it stopped. When my mom was pregnant with me it happened again but when I was born it, stopped. Once in a while it happened or we could see them out of the corner of our eye or hear them

Man im really shock reading this

wat about you guys?...

One day (no, not in the band camp, silly) I was walking through the woods all by myself. It was quite dark and I suddenly heard foot steps. Had to be human, the noise was unmistakable, heavy feet on dried leaves. I was glad I was not on my own anymore. I slowed down for the person to catch up. The foot steps got closer and closer. I stopped. I was a bit scared to turn around and look. And suddenly they stopped (footsteps). I started walking again with a quicker pace. The footsteps followed again, this time they sounded even closer, closer, closer. My heart was pounding. I began to run, so did the footsteps. They got even closer, right behind me and I felt someone run past me. It all happened so suddenly, when I looked in the direction I could see no one. It was awide open space...

hey!!!!

you guys know it is true that most of us have stories like this...i think it's because when it goes dark we tend to become scary even at a small little mice running around....or sometimes even at our shadows,i think it's natural that most of us imagine that something wrong is gonna happening

when it's dark and that too when we are alone.............

not necessary to be dark. I had one eerie experience on mid-afternoon. The doors inside the house got slammed with a bang. There was no one, not even a whiff of air. That happened quite a few times, always when I was alone in that room.

I believe in ghosts like I believe in ending the middle east crisis'. Ive had far too many paranormal experiences to not believe in them, and no I havent lost my cookies.

Ive never seen ghosts or had any experiences with the paranormal, but yes I do believe in their existence.

Ive heard too many stories from very reliable sources and I really dont wanna think about that right now cuz its past 1 am, everyones asleep......and now I have to go sleep in my room, alone :!:

I think he was more like, "If you believe in God then you must also believe in the devil." I think he said:

Agar aapko bhagwaan par bharosa hai to shaitan par bhi bharosa hona chahiye.

Or something to that effect.

I've Seen Ghosts Only In Movies (Atleast Make-Believe Ones). And I Go By What Ash Said in Raaz.Believe in Neither :P

But there was this 'Wierd' Incident Which I ought to tell. While in FY College, We had Hired a Sumo to Go to Vizag for appearing the MAT Exam. There were 6 of us (4 Guys & 2 Gals). While Returning,it was Well past midnight and we were Still an Hour or So From Reaching our Hometown. While on a Lonely Stretch of the Newly-Constructed Highway,Somehow the Topic of Ghosts Floated (I Like the word,'floated') into the Discussion. I and another Non-Believer Buddy Played it up Just to Frighten the Gals.We had a Good Fright for Half-an-Hour or so Until the gals Started to Really Feel Nervous and were On the Brink of Crying Out.

As Ill-Luck Would Have it,the Sumo Stopped Just Then in the Middle of Nowhere. And There was Absolute Silence for Almost a Minute tor Two.

Even Our Driver had Nothing To Say.For what seemed Like Eternity,we all were Struck Dumb and Were Waiting For Something To Happen.

Then a Passing Truck with Blaring Horn Brought Us all Back to Reality and we Heaved a Sigh of Relief. We Got Down,Repaired the Sumo and Were on our Way.But Not after I & the other Guys Received Gb-Smacking Punches From the Gals!!!!
