Fly Free

Do you have moments when you feel really free, free like a bird soaring high in the sky? Driving, listening to your favourite song, people around you - what sets you free and happy?

Sitting in front of the TV and watching a good old Cricket match/Movie/ Documentry along with friends or alone... :D
People are crazy, at times are strange. I am locked-in tight, I am out of range.
I used to care, but things have changed.

by mark » Tue May 31, 2005 10:46 am

driving my bike as fast as possible singing "born to be wild" to myself in my helmet. also, lying on my couch naked watching movies all night even though i know i have work in the morning. bliss.

oh, and giving massages to people i care about.

but the most free i've ever felt was when i packed all my belongings into 1 suitcase, threw out everything non-essential, and stepped onto the plane for Hyderabad. felt like a puppet that's just had it's strings cut and realises that it can walk around on its own.

Crusing down the highway on a bike or car with windows rolled down, wind in the hair and heavy metal flowing.

Or

a calm lake or sea with no people around other than my best pals and the sun just starts going down.

Second that...

And also,

On the beach, alone, with my fav book and a diary to put in my thoughts, losing track of time...

And

Walking in the rain with someone else, without worrying about wetting my clothes or catching a cold...

coz dragons oughta be blinded. they are ugly wimps and they fart fire through their mouths ! they gobble people up if they're near. then they steal stuff... jewels, stones and .. you know.. muffins from little girls. So what could you do !! And did i say blind the dragons.. I meant figuratively :P

Well he didn't blind the dragon, and tricked him nevertheless, in his 4th book. Harry had to get the egg of a dragon as part of the Tri-wizard tournament :)

Isn't it a shame we can't stay in the happy free state for ever. Just have to come tumbling down and hit the ground with a thud - yeah like a bird with it's wings clipped in flight.
