abt befriending girls:

1) talk to them intelligently. the crude jokes can wait till they are closer to u

2) respect their individuality and personal space.

3) dont make sexist anti-woman jokes/remarks unless they are really close to u.

4) forget what the hero did in that telugu film to impress the girl....it wont work in real life.

5) do not, i repeat, DO NOT assume that a friendly girl is in love with u just coz she speaks sweetly with u...

6) dont sweat and stammer if a girl speaks to u directly or shakes hands with u...

7) do not show off like u r the hottest male to hit the campus.

8) dont give girls tips on dressing/makeup even if u think she looks dreadful.

thats it for now....all the best! :D

thanks CAD bhai.... ur tips seem dat they'll work well..... u r grt..!!! :D

I Agree Implicitly......

Seniors Jus Rag only to take off the PRessure and also to loighten their own I-Have-Been-Ragged Feeling. After the Inital Ragging perios is over, they're gonna be ur Guiding Light in the College and also will be of lotsa help in ur Course like Giving Books n Materials & the Like.If it is Mild ragging and Light-HEarted,Don't be afraid to do it.But be cautiusi if it goes overboard like Too physical or too Vulgar. Also If they get their assignments to be done by you, decide how many to do before you say no!!!

And in an Engg COllege,it always helps to be Friends with Gals,As they'll be the ones that come to ur rescue once the Exams are Underway and u need notes!!! I befriended Gals only in the 4th Semester and thus my Results up2 3rd semester are Zilch!!!

:D hau...! thats why i always support co-education...the opposite sex wud no longer be a mysterious entity for ppl with co-ed background! most ppl with a co-ed background wud tell u the same thing.
but remember co-education is not a guarantee to make one a hit with opposite sex...that needs practice!

Studies? You mean college is all about studying? Nothing else?

Rabab wrote:college is something different than High school...

Exactly!! That is why what you did in high school (i.e. studying), you hardly do that in college. You just cram on the last few days and hope you can remember all of it

As a starter Enriquee, stop pestering Aries, that is a very wrong move, don't try that with girls, most girls will get irritated... and say that you are 'chaatu'...
