but what if both the man n the woman (both unattached) just want some no-strings-attached sex to satisfy a temporary lust...? no one is cheating anyone here. whats wrong with that...?Alexis wrote:...See, unless the couple is very serious about each other and do intend on subsequent marriage---sex could be ok.

the current view of sex as "immoral" or "dirty" is bcoz of the influence of a few centuries of Muslim and British rule. the poor hindu fundoos dont realise whose cause they r espousing when they rant against sexBetty wrote:Indian society, on the face of it, think of sex as something dirty - a view which is peculiarly contradicted by what is written in old Indian scriptures, depicted in sculptures and ancient rituals.
i think these "partners" are called "mistresses" or "toy-boys"...Betty wrote:However, I am not sure if I would be amused or aghast if someday, someone refers to another as his/her 'sex' partner on the same lines as calling someone their friend, fiancee, spouse...

Ummm, I guess its not a bad mantra for kick-back and bindaas guys with no respect for themselves or women in general.
See, unless the couple is very serious about each other and do intend on subsequent marriage---sex could be ok. Im in no way condoning or encouraging premarital sex, though.
Why would a guy buy a cow if hes getting the milk for free?
mark wrote:to my mind there is at least a little love in most sexual situations, at some level i think we all see the beauty in each other. i always think of it as some sort of massive cosmic ballet, with astroids traveling in random directions hitting off each other, profoundly changing their trajectory and spin. Some just clip lightly, others smash head on and form 1 body of broken rock shards held together by the weak gravity of the astroid.
Some destroy each other, some hold together and some just alter their paths slightly and spin apart, never to meet again. If you get to the point of having sex with someone then they've already had an impact on your life. I think at some level we all love that, meeting interesting people and sharing an intimate part of your life with them. Anyhow, i think my point is that if you get to the stage where you're taking off your trousers/skirt then there must be something about the person you find attractive and lovable at some level.
