Birthdays?!

by IMFBreturns » Fri May 13, 2005 2:33 pm

I was just thinking to myself how so many of you know each other...but do you know each others birthdays?

I'll start...today is my birthday... :D  :D

what about you guys?!!!

And while we're on the topic of birthdays: How come in india people ask for a party from someone on some occason (a birthday, passing exams, or stuff that you had to work hard for....) instead of giving a party to that person for all the work or just throwing them a party to celebrate their success? (not that I'm against giving......just wanted some clarity on this point :) :) )
I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.

Happy Birthday, IMFB! Hope you had a good one.

I wondered about that whole party-giving thing when I was in Hyd a while ago. My sis-in-law passed her Inter second year with first class, and just about everyone who congratulated her asked her to mithai-khilao or throw a party. I thought that was weird, cuz shouldnt the others do that for her? Ulta kissa hai! :?

I didn't lodge a complaint coz the cops cant do anything about it. I remember when I had lost my phone before once (lost...not stolen)...I went to the PS and they were like...what do you want us to do about it.

The only thing I did this time was to go to Hutch and tell them that I needed a replacement SIM (old one gets deactivated once the new SIM is activated) and bought another phone.

Ah but yes...they did catch the guy who had stolen my phone coz i saw his pic in the paper for him doing it to someone else. Fortunately there were a lot f ppl around when he tried it again and they beat him up and took him to the PS.

If its a symbian phone, you can track it.All the latest phones have a GPS chip installed in them.In US,the phone companies themselves trace it for you.

If its one of the older models, they can track it to the last tower in the area. :D
