Yesterday I landed in Chennai.

Climate is horrible.

I will say definitely that Hyderabad is far better.

Here humidity is very high.

Oh God save me.

Electric trains are REAL HOT OVENS here

Mumbai,Inspite of being a Seaside City was Much Much Cooler than Hyderabad.But there's high Levels Of Pollution there with all the CNG emissions and Heaps n Heaps Of Sonstruction Rubble that Literally Flies Around.......

The Most Horrible Time to be in Chennai is May-June.The Humidity keeps Soaring and there's no Sweating at all to Relieve the Heated Body.

Yeah I heard that Delhi is less polluted.Havnt been there since 4 years.Probably have to go there.Last time I went there I was disgusted with the pollution.

Hare Child,

Here are My suggestions and Points,

1)looks like a disenchanted visitor.....

happy travelling

2)from may to sept, stick to the himalayas.

ps. get an AC room.

3)Hyderabad over Chennai any day. But, I might be biassed..

4)Chennai's peak summer is in May..however during evenings you get cool breeze from the sea. However in non-sea coast areas like Delhi or Hyderabad you will feel that you are in an oven baked all through evening and night.

5) Why complain? You live in India and you should know better than anyone else what the climate will be at this time of year. Head up north. Go to Ladakh where the temperature will be very pleasant, no humidity, friendly people, stunning scenery.

Day before yesterday me and my wife went to spensor plaza as usual to get releived from heat.

still it was not that much cool.

we took some onion bajji and veg bonda at Sageeta restaurent.

Took some ice cream.

still we suffered.

ultimately got releived after entering in to the reliance web world there.

Yesterday went to T Nagar, Ranganathan street, pondy bazaar, and north usman road.

Oh god i promise you all, next to jodhpur and jaipur chennai is terrible in form of heat.

we then got releived after entering in to the Murugan Idli Kadai at North Usman Road.

Beleive me for Idli they give five varieties of chutneys, Sambar and most importantly some oil podi also. Really tasty. This is fully airconditioned too.

Please guys dont miss this place when you visit Chennai.

Today we went to Thiritani By saptagiri express.

The temperature inside Thirutani Murugan temple

must have been 42 degrees.

Anyway my wife's mission was achieved today.

Today we travelled through the newly laid Railway line from Chennai Beach station to Anna nagar.

It passed through the Royapuram Railway Station, South India's first and oldest Railway station. :cry:

But presently it look like Ghost house.

The small (3 Car) train started at 1500 hrs from Chennai Beach station.

Reached Anna nagar Railway station at 1545 hrs.

Once again my relief from Heat is Reliance web world at 2nd Avenue, Anna Nagar. from where I am writing this letter now.

Long live well maintained reliance web worlds.

That too in places like Chennai.

Our next destination is Anna Nagar tower.
