I saw this comment by a black South African who has been crying a lot since the football incident at Milan. This dude is complaining how racism exists in UEFA and FIFA. He is cursing the italians and the italian police for allowing "racist actions". Basically he's acting like our friend over here.



The incident was that fans of the losing side threw bottles and flares onto the pitch. One of the flare hit a player from the winning team standing close to the area where these rowdy fans sat. He happened to be coloured (brazilian). The flares were thrown not because he was black.......but because the losing side played badly and have been playing badly all year long. This was the fans warning to the management.



So why did this south african dude talk about racism? maybe he has a very big inferiority complex hence he relates all violence and obstacles in life to racism.

Let me get out some hard truths man. Most of this state's powerful politicians are either from my caste (Choudhary) or are Reddys. My grandfather himself was an MLA and so I know a little bit about practical politics. The politicians do not give a rats ass about you. And after listening to you I think they are justified. You are just vote banks. Removing reservations will cause you uncivilized, uneducated, donkey _suckers to riot. The last thing our city needs is a riot.

Just to prove how totally useless you people are, let me ask you what you have achieved inspite of having all the reservation. I do not know many local companies owned by you people. I do not know many intellectuals from your community. Hell!! I do not know even a single actor from your community.

I remember the actress Pratyusha was a dalit but as soon as she commited suicide/murdered, the first thing your people did was flash the caste card and ask for strict action. This kinda makes your no different from the communists. Actually communists are better than you.

Frankly I think BR Ambedkar is useless _. I gave his statue my one finger salute on his anniversary. It is because of him that people like you have the balls to come out into the open and cry about something you do not deserve.

OK. Now I am not sure whether I should be relieved that the Mods do not find my posts inflammatory or feel a little insecure considering the way they go about removing duplicate posts. I do understand that dealing with the huge number of posts that are made each day on these forums is not easy.



While most posts are made without any utilization of the grey matter, the Mods must keep in mind that a lot of thought goes behind certain posts. The two that I lost were of that type. And it is a little discerning to have to live with the thought that something like this could happen again. just my 2 cents...im a catholic though my hindu surname is prabhu in my native place of udupi...but anyways i just cant make sence this caste thing...the lower caste ppl want the caste system abolised but try to get privilages by branding themselves as dalits which itself is a caste....yes lower caste ppl do get abused and harrased and tortured in the villages but in the cities its not the case (thats what i believe)....i believe that the caste system should be out-lawed...that anyone who metions his caste should be punished....i mean u look in the matrimonial section what do u see?? im frm this caste that caste want to marry somebody frm this caste that caste.....we call india one of the most hospitable and accomodating countries...hell we still practice rascism.....and the discrimination will never stop ..reasons..the reservation for "dalits" though it makes sense as being the only was for an agricultural economy like india in which that is the only way for dalits to make it big in life with reservations frm their animal like living standards...in the cities reservations doesnt make sense and alotta brahmins hold grudges again dalits cas they have to work much harder in life while the dalits get govt. jobs resevertions, admissions easily and hence dont work so hard...but in the villages its exactly the opposite ...i read about an IAS officer who has to keep a very low profile in his village because he's a "dalit"....in uncivilized societies of the north dalits are killed for the smallest of offences .... and then this cycle goes on cas most of the acedemic and high ranking hindus in india are "brahmins" and they hold that grudge against the "dalits" hence i guess the only way for a "dalit" to progress is when he joins politics like whats happenin in the north althogh the "dalit" candidate who wins does nothing for "his" people............... i think hinduism is one of the most intelligent religions in this world and i also understand that the caste system did have a use but its become too rigid and an evil....and hindu parties and organizations dont address the caste system in india much...everybody learns from a very young age that the caste system is one of the greatest evils of india but they still proudly proclaim their caste and our early freedom fighters really fought to abolish it but todays politicians have destroyed all their work and are now using the caste system for their gain to win votes....and we are to blame for all this

Hyderabad, Oct 25: The Dalit Freedom Network based in the United States has urged the American administration to reserve a certain percentage of visas for the untouchables, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes of India.



Prof Kancha Ilaiah, spokesperson of the DFN, told mediapersons on Tuesday that the funds being given for primary education by the US government and international financial institutions such as World Bank and International Monetary Fund should be used for setting up English medium schools for the disadvantaged classes. Once English education reaches such classes, they would be able to break social and economic barriers and move up in society, he said.



Prof Ilaiah said that he, along with Dr Joseph D’Souza, Udit Raj and Prof. Indira Athwale, gave testimonies before the US committee on International Relations on October 6 and had convinced it of the caste and untouchability factors prevalent in India. The lower castes, untouchables and tribal masses have no share in the massively globalised economy.



“The DFN wants the problems of caste system and its economic implications to be seriously registered in the minds of American ruling class and civil society,” he said.

In the context of very negative approach to the issue of reservation in the private sector, the DFN has resolved to impress upon the US government and Industry to give reservation to SC, ST, OBCs in American companies established in India. Prof. Ilaiah said there was nothing wrong in bringing the issue to the attention of the American administration.



“We consider it a human rights violation that has been going on for centuries. We intend to involve all European and Asian governments and other organisations in the process of abolition of caste, untouchability and tribalism in India,” he said.
