Or do we need a certain someone who has the IQ of an ice pick to start off a nonsensical thread, which most of us spend our valuable time on trying to make any sense of?
Yeah Lucifer, agree. There's no point cribbing that the quality of the discussions/topics have taken a nosedive, unless one can actually make amends by starting something a lil more meaningful.
On a personal note, to be able to convey whats in my head articulately, I'd need time....which I may or may not have (during office hours). The next option is to post a line or two on a topic that catches my attention and then crib about the lack of good discussions...!!!

Err..... Excuse Me But what acc to all is a "Sensible" topic? Is it one where
all n sundry can profess their views and spam away to glory?
There already are Lots of threads running on the DB which merit someone
or the other's attention and dicussion. But somehow or the other, they jus' fizzle away.....
There are topix here ranging from Premarital Sex to Traffic chaos,to Hinduism Vs. Christianism to Tamil Girl Vs. Telugu Girl to Eating Places
to Political Views to Assembly Chaos to Stoned Thoughts to Quizzing
and whatnot.......
If all these topix do not merit discussions, then what more Topic under the Sun
would satisfy the needs of everyone?
Please Don't Misunderstand me here.I am NOT against or am NOT averse
to creating new discussions which all can participate in.But the Diverse nature
of the members of the DB make it highly impossible to involve everyone in a "Healthy" discussion. Not Everyone wud like to comment on a particular topic.
Take my example,I am averse to airing my Views on a Religious Topic.
Jus' bcoz I fear that my comments will be taken out of context.
Similarly there may be others who dislike/disregard/uninterested in some
other field.
