Help a Hyderabadi Visitor

by Ku Klux Klan » Fri Feb 25, 2005 12:08 pm

Hi friends,

Let me say two words abt myself: Good Boy!!!

I am a First-time visitor to Hyderabad.Must say that it is a Nice City.

I am here for the purpose of attending two interviews for which I had

received calls.

First one is for GECIS,which as you may all know is a BPO.Now is there

any BPO employee in here? My first round of telephonic Interview was over

and the second round is due tomorrow. They shall be asking Network-Related

Questions.Any idea on what the Questions might be? At Least Which Field

of networking they might be?

Now I am an electronics passout. So don't have that good idea abt n/w's.

Any Recommended books?

Second Interview I have is of Bharti Infotel for the post of 'Graduate

Engineer Trainee'.I have tried asking the local Airtel offices about the

post but they don't have a clue. Can you people help me?

I want to know what kind of job it is? and any other useful

information shall be helpful to me.

I have heard that Koti is a nice place for Buying Books.Any other places

where I can get Quality books at nice prices?

I know I am asking too much but I have always heard that Hyderabadis

are renowned for their Largesse and helpful Nature. So Please help

this ABCD (Andhra-Born-Confused-Dude)

Hiya KKK,

Ur Name & Siggie lead me to believe that u r a Sherlock Holmes Reader.

Ain't it???

Regarding GECIS,I think it is in Habsiguda.I remember seeing its website.

There used to be a member who I think as into BPO,JAH i think it was.

And CAD & HP are two guys who are into MNC's etc though I knew today

that CAD was not in a BPO.

http://www.gecisitservices.com is the sitename i think.

I too am an Electronics Engineer and since the latter part is Communications

I have a fair idea about networks albeit only the telephonic & Mobile'

kinds.PC networks is a vast field and we had only a tip of the iceberg

so to say.

All the Best for ur Interview.

There is a story in Holmes Short Stories that involves KKK.Maybe Bond is under the impression that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle made up KKK for that book. :D
