There's a movie theme to every question

1. during filming, the lead actor had a heart attack, the director lost 100 lb. and threatened suicide, and the supporting actor turned up drunk, overweight, and without learning his lines. What was the movie?

2. Give 2 links between Roman Polanski and The Beatles "White Album"

3. Link Salvador Dali and the 80s/90s rock band The Pixies

4. What actor links the movies Casablanca and Laurence of Arabia?

5. This directors trademarks include bookending his films (i.e starting and ending with the same shot) and people bursting through walls and ceilings. Who is he?

ANother amateur error. Its not who gives the answer first, its who gets the answer right.

You are not supposed to tell if the answer is right or wrong until you are declaring the answers.

hence you give points to how many ever a person got right

scores

Akhil - 0

Daisy - 1.5

Lizard - 1

Answers:

1. Apocalypse Now

2. Ans i was looking for were specific White Album connections Daisy, not Beatles Connections. However i guess your answer was a connection.

a) The Manson Family - Heavily influenced by the White Album Charles Mansons followers killed Roman Polanski's wife and friends in their house, and scrawled White Album lyrics on the walls in blood (i think it was "All Rise")

b) Roman Polanski acted in the 1992 film "Back in the USSR". This is the title of song 1, disc 1 on the White Album.

3. Keep in mine there was a film link to all of these. The Pixies song Debaser is about the Dali + Brunel (i think) short film called Un Chein Andalau

4. Claude Rains

5. Terry Gilliam

so well done Daisy.
