Air Conditioners

Hi All

Could someone advise me on which Air Conditioner is best for domestic purposes? Heard LG have good models. Also what are the advantages of having the split model over window model? Dealers in my area don't seem to have much knowledge. I've checked LG's website. They have tech data but I would really appreciate info from users.

unless u can properly seal the room when the A/C is running, it wud be a drain on the power supply and leave u with a hefty bill.

i recommend air coolers, which are cheaper to buy and operate provided u have the water to fill it daily. a properly positioned air cooler can chill a room in minutes.

I've heard tht Carrier is v good but they dnt have dealers u'll have to purchase it from the co. itself. Most dealers say tht the split model consumers more elec. compared to the window one.

aaaaah tandak! Thought I'd post in case someone out there has the same dilemma.

Got Onida split a/c & it's ace! So quiet & efficient. Plus does not take up floor space.

but u are married right, so u have a better option than the other chicks here to throw party at ur place, parents will take boys as just boys, not potentials, even if they were to a few.

Yeah true. Think it's the mohallah wala's who would have more questions than my hubby or parents! I'll say I am conducting a swayamwar for my beti :lol:

tum kitne ache ladke ho! bahut shukriyaan. haan help to chahiye. But the party will have to be in June as I'm off to UK for couple of months.
