if u r planning to get into s/w dev in future, i suggest u opt for C/C++ instead of run-of-the-mill J2EE or .Net. its not easy but there's less competetion and more money here.rock_26iin wrote:I did C++ two years ago in school. Extremely basic stuff though!

If you like C/C++ then it will be very good for you because everyone nowadays wants to learn .net (me included). Foolish choice, bcuz it will just be upgraded by Microsoft and then we will all have to learn the new version which will hve an entirely new architechture and policies becuse the previous one had major performance and security flaws (d'oh!).
