hey depends where u live. Why dont u just go try at the nearest nursery.

otherwise, there is one nursery in somajiguda, the lane beside the new coffee day(rajbhavan road). i kind of forgot the name of the nursery.

i am surte u ll get the peat there.

And, by the way, why dont u invite the boys for a movie and get them to do the gardening for u?:D

I sort of lost my way around King Koti and found my way into some place where there are a lot of shops which sell Agri supplies. Trust me, you will find whatever you are looking for at that place (my father used to buy all his stuff from there when we had a farm)

So, if you go to Koti (where they sell the second-hand bikes) and ask around for the place where there are a lot of Agri supply shops (it is near the road which turns towards Kachiguda), i am sure somebody will point you in the right direction.

yeah.. the place is hyderguda, but i doubt if u d get any peat and wood chips there. anayway, try ur luck, well, i am sure u know where basheerbagh cross roads is by now. when u are coming towards the X roads from tank bund(hussain sagar), dont take the flyover, stick to the road below it and at rthe X roads, take a right turn.... a steep right, not a 10 O clock turn, and go ahead about 20 yards, all u ll find would be farmer-friendly shops. Dont know how friendly they are to the farmers though. n by the way, have u ever been a farmboy? was curious, just remembered that u said u were from the country. got me onto thinking about the irish potatos

thanks man. no i wasn't a farm boy stricktly speaking, though our house was sandwiched between 2 large farms, so i spent most of my time as a kid wandering the countryside and playing in haystacks. both my parents worked in town though (teacher and printer)

hmm. just found this phrase with google "India is one of the leading suppliers of Vermiculite"

sounds good. i'll just wander around to various factories asking if they make the stuff.

yeah apparently the vermi part is because when expanded it looks like a worm.

It's a mineral, very absorbant and non nutriant. used for planting cuttings.

legal... do u mean ... in afganistan.

n by the way, heard that the native asiatic poppy plants crossed with californian poppy produce beautiful colourful flowers, which are very very exotic unlike the native white ones.
